GAMS is a community-based cooperative created in 2007 to establish a marine centre that promotes the sustainability of the Gulf of St. Lawrence through education, research, and collaboration. The centre is located in Chéticamp, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, a village founded on the fisheries of the Gulf.		GAMS est une coopérative communautaire créée en 2007 pour établir un centre marin qui favorise la durabilité du Golfe du Saint-Laurent à travers l'éducation, la recherche et la collaboration. Le centre est situé à Chéticamp, Cap-Breton, Nouvelle-Écosse, un village fondée sur les pêches du Golfe.
